I really want thredup to work for me, but their returns process is so dishonest and just broken and I can’t stand losing money just because they are disorganized or whatever and can’t get their act together to process returns correctly! It’s maddening!!! Thredup is so much easier than Poshmark or buying new when it comes to little kid clothes especially. So I opened another account, but they’re doing the same thing again (not crediting my account, even though I can SEE my returned items re-listed on the app). I contacted my credit card company for a chargeback for the “missing” returned items, and Thredup suspended my account for a “terms of service violation for the chargeback. ![]() I’ve never had this problem before, but admittedly, I was never buying and returning as much as I have been lately (kids’ and pregnancy clothes are so hard to size!!!). This has meant hundreds (close to a thousand) dollars in the past 6 months or so. Bottom line, they won’t credit my account or return the money for the items I sent back. I have seen returned items relisted on the site (I’m talking unique colors of small brands-definitely the same items I returned), even screenshotted them, but customer service insists that the items were not included in my return box. My issue is that lately they are NOT processing my returns. I buy a lot from thredup (three little kids plus three pregnancies in 4 years = a LOT of clothes and sizing changes needed!).
